Pick your firm, plan and stage, then enter your best day and total profit (or every day's P&L). You'll see whether your best day fits the rule, the largest day you can have right now, and how much more profit you need before you can pass or get paid.
A consistency rule caps how much of your profit can come from your single best day. The check is one division: best day ÷ total net profit, compared with the limit. Lucid publishes it exactly that way (largest day ÷ account profit), and Alpha Futures and Take Profit Trader measure against net profit too.
"Below" vs "at" the limit. Alpha Futures and Take Profit Trader require the best day to be below the limit, and at Apex a day of 50% or more is over it. FundedNext Direct allows up to and including 20%. Where a firm doesn't say, the calculator treats the limit as "below" to be safe.
The window. Some firms reset the count after each payout (Lucid Pro, Alpha, Apex); FundedNext Direct compares your all-time best day with the current cycle. Enter the profit for the window your firm uses, shown under the preset.
For the full explanation of the rule and how to trade around it, read prop firm consistency rules explained. If you'd rather avoid the rule entirely, see the futures prop firms with no consistency rule.

Stages with no consistency rule: Apex, Tradeify Growth, Lucid Pro, Alpha Zero, Top One Elite Access, FundedNext Rapid Pro and MFF Builder evaluations; Tradeify Select, Lucid Flex and Daily, Alpha Advanced, Top One Elite Daily, MFF Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro, FundedNext Flex and Legacy, and Take Profit Trader once funded; FundedNext Rapid Daily at every stage.
Divide your best single day's profit by your total net profit for the period the firm measures, then compare the result with the limit. A $1,200 best day on $3,000 of profit is 40%, which is right at a 40% limit. If the share is over the limit, you keep trading until your total is large enough.
Divide your best day by the limit to get the total you need. With a $1,500 best day and a 40% rule you need just over $3,750 in total, so on $3,000 of profit you need about $750 more. Any new day also has to fit under the limit, so a very large day can raise the bar instead of clearing it.
It depends on the plan. Apex, Tradeify Growth, Lucid Pro, Alpha Zero and Top One Elite Access apply it only when you request payouts. Take Profit Trader, Tradeify Select, Lucid Flex, My Funded Futures Rapid and Pro, and FundedNext Flex apply it only in the evaluation. Alpha Standard applies it in both, and instant-funding accounts apply it to every payout.
Yes, at the firms that publish the formula. Lucid divides by account profit, Alpha Futures by net profit since your last request and Take Profit Trader by net profit, so a losing day lowers your total and makes your best day a bigger share. The day-by-day mode in this calculator uses net profit for that reason.
Alpha Futures says going over pauses payouts but does not breach the account, and Apex's help center says its 50% rule is not a breach either. In an evaluation, going over simply means you haven't passed yet. Check your own firm's wording, because the rules differ.
Yes. It's free, needs no signup and runs entirely in your browser. The presets use the limits we checked against each firm's help center or site on Oct 23, 2026, and you can type in any other limit.
Twenty of the 27 plans we track drop the consistency rule in either the evaluation or the funded account, and one drops it at every stage.
